The restaurant is not just a place to eat – it is a gateway into the enchanting landscape of the Český les (Bohemian Forest), inviting every guest to immerse themselves in an atmosphere filled with mystery and wonder. Inspiration drawn from nature and its gifts is the foundation of our concept. Here, the deep forests are not merely a backdrop, but the true protagonist of the story our space tells. Wooden elements and details, mounted trophies, and carefully selected motifs of local flora and fauna serve not only as decoration but as storytellers—evoking the mystical forest that surrounds and inspires our restaurant. Upon entering the interior of Restaurant Hvozd, guests find themselves under an open sky, created by an illuminated ceiling feature. At the center of attention are round brass light fixtures symbolizing the sun. White-hued hanging trophies add to the ambience of the mysterious Český les, full of wild creatures. The walls, decorated with geometric oak patterns, recall pine cones hanging from the trees and dewdrops sliding down blades of grass. The circular shapes and the play of different veneer orientations add softness and a natural flow to the space. Restaurant Hvozd is part of the Resort Český Les project, a transformation of a former military complex into a unique tourist destination for the whole region.
