The design of the new theatre stage had to cleverly integrate everything essential: the connection between housing, parking, and garden spaces. What initially felt like a complex puzzle slowly came together — despite challenges such as limited sewage capacity, airspace restrictions, an inconveniently placed fiber optic cabinet, and the unfavourable orientation of the plot. From the outset, we worked closely with the clients, a creative couple with a strong sense of design and architecture, who contributed significantly to the development of the concept. Thanks to their family ties, we were able to secure access through the parents' adjacent property, allowing us to position the house in a secondary row of development, offering both privacy and panoramic views of the Beskydy mountains. The house is oriented to the south, with an open living space, gallery, and covered veranda facing the garden. The architectural expression combines rustic wood, anthracite elements, and white surfaces. Open floor plans and visual connections between rooms allow family members to stay connected even while pursuing different activities. The technical solution of the roof structure — a beam-free 9×18 m span resolved with reinforced concrete framing — enabled the creation of a clean, open interior free of additional stiffening elements. The result is a technically sophisticated and atmospherically unique home, reflecting the creativity and personal input of its owners.
